All models are cooled by forced ambient air drawn through and around the ozone modules and equipment enclosure by a high volume centrifugal blower. This cooling method eliminates the use of water, reduces operating cost and maintenance (the only requirement is periodic washing of an air intake filter), and simplifies installation since plumbing and a drain are not required. The generator enclosure is typically mounted on the wall so valuable floor space is not occupied

One standard size enclosure accommodates one, two or three ozone modules. Each enclosure with less than a full complement of modules is set up for field installation of additional modules to meet future requirements. And with each module operable as an independent system, unique flexibility is inherent - one ozone generator can: a) supply separate applications; b) supply multiple zones of a single application; or c) supply a single application, with combined capacity of manifolded modules. Further, an ozone generator with multiple modules can employ one as a standby - manually or automatically switched on to meet an abnormal demand

The high voltage transformer (one per ozone module) is oil insulated and hermetically sealed, and designed specifically for ozone generating service to provide long-term reliability.

Options: Manual ozone turndown control – separate, door-mounted, Variac for each ozone module adjusts primary voltage to high voltage transformer, to vary secondary voltage/ozone production.
Module switching – separate control relay for each ozone module allows external signal (12 VAC, 24 VAC, 12 VDC, 24 VDC) to turn ON/OFF module from a remote location, to vary ozone production in 1 lb/day increments. |
